Question: Am I giving away my Copyright?
Answer:No you keep your copyright. You maintain 100% ownership of your music.
Question: How am I getting paid?
Answer:The clients that select your music and choose to license will pay you directly.
Question: How do I upload my songs?
Answer: Sign up for a subscription and then you’ll be able to upload songs on your artist dashboard.
Question: What’s the subscription price?
Answer: We have 3 subscription options:
- $25.00 per month for a 6 month subscription.
- $20.00 per month for a yearly subscription (or you can pay for the full year upfront with a 10% discount for a total of ($216.00).
- You can pay $20.00 for just an evaluation of your song (how many do we evaluate (2 songs?)
Question: How many songs can I upload?
Answer:A maximum of 12 songs (on a one year subscription)
Question: What if I want a song evaluation?
Answer: You can get your song evaluated for $20.00. If you would like to sign up for a subscription, this will go towards your first month’s fee.
Question: How much do I get paid?
Answer: This is completely based on the deal you make with the third party. It varies based on the project. An average placement in a movie is around $20,000.

Question: Are my home recordings good enough, or do I need a "pro" studio recording?
Answer: You need a high quality “pro” studio recording. We can give you affordable recommendations by emailing us at musicproduction@j4uinc.com
Question: Do you help market my music?
Answer: When you subscribe to our program we market, promote and find placement opportunities.
